A coroner has called on Boris Johnson to launch a public investigation into the Covid pandemic “as soon as practicable”, at the end of an inquest into a pregnant nanny who have been killed with the virus.

The coroner found that Mary Agyapong, who was 28, died of several organ default and Covid-1 9, but said it remained “unclear” where she contracted the virus.

Her spouse told the inquest she was excitable about catching the virus at research hospitals where “shes working”, while she was heavily pregnant.
