Public Health England has have recognized that 15,841 positive specimen between the 25 th September and 2nd October were not included in reported daily contingencies at the time and not passed on to the contact tracing structure.

The latest figures on 4th October show there were 22,961 new confirmed coronavirus suits, recorded in the latest 24 -hour period. 33 deaths more extinctions were recorded, of people who died within 28 daylights of a positive Covid-1 9 assessment. It makes the total number, across the UK, to 42,350.

The Prime Minister Boris Johnson has warned that the UK faced “a very tough winter” with the virus. He said he hoped things would be radically different by the spring. Labour accused him of failing to set out a “serious strategy”.
