Sex workers in Germany have told the BBC that a countrywide ban on the industry has forced countless into poverty and danger.

Sex work is usually law – and regulated – in “the two countries “, but the government has closed brothels and restricted the sale of sex as part of Covid-1 9 restrictions.

Many workers told BBC correspondent Jenny Hill they’ve no choice but to spurn the ban.
